Goulburn Mulwaree Council advises that essential road rehabilitation works will commence on Garoorigang Road, from the Braidwood Road intersection to the Railway Bridge. Works will involve construction of new kerb and gutter, rehabilitation of pavement, bitumen sealing and line marking.
Work is scheduled to take place from 3 March 2025 and expected to be completed by mid-April 2025. Work will be carried out between the hours of 7am and 5pm, weather permitting.
Please be advised that Garoorigang Road will be closed between Braidwood Road and the Railway Bridge during works, with detours in place. Resident and Emergency services access will be maintained. There will be an increase in construction traffic and noise during this time, and Traffic Management will be in place.
Council acknowledges the temporary inconvenience and appreciates the community's patience during these important upgrades.
