It's time to get your extra recycling waste together and dispose of it the best way possible at Council's Recycling Drop Off Day on Saturday 8 May, 9am-noon.
The quarterly event, to be held at Council's Works Depot located at 5 Millwood Avenue in Narellan, allows local residents the chance to get their recycling waste together and get rid of it for free.
Mayor of Camden, Cr Theresa Fedeli, said the event was popular with new residents moving into their homes.
"Taking care of the environment and being sustainable is very important to Council and our Recycling Drop Off event gives the community the chance to do the right thing with us," Cr Fedeli said.
"We have more than 100 residents calling Camden their new home on a weekly basis. I am sure the Recycling Drop Off event comes at a great time for many.
"For the safety of both the community and staff, residents are asked to remain in their cars when they attend Council's Works Depot."
Items that will be accepted on the day include:
- Bulky cardboard;
- Paper;
- Plastic bottles and containers;
- Glass bottles;
- Cans; and
- Polystyrene.
