General Officer Announcements 11 July

Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III announced today that the president has made the following nominations:

Army Maj. Gen. Kevin D. Admiral for appointment to the grade of lieutenant general, with assignment as the commanding general, III Corps and Fort Cavazos, Fort Cavazos, Texas. Admiral is currently serving as the commanding general, 1st Cavalry Division, Fort Cavazos, Texas.

Army Maj. Gen. William H. Graham Jr. for appointment to the grade of lieutenant general, with assignment as the chief of engineers and commanding general, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Washington, D.C. Graham is currently serving as the deputy chief of engineers and deputy commanding general for Civil Works and Emergency Operations, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Washington, D.C.

Army Maj. Gen. Joshua M. Rudd for appointment to the grade of lieutenant general, with assignment as the deputy commander, U.S. Indo-Pacific Command, Camp H.M. Smith, Hawaii. Rudd is currently serving as the chief of staff, U.S. Indo-Pacific Command, Camp H.M. Smith, Hawaii.

Army Maj. Gen. Joseph A. Ryan for appointment to the grade of lieutenant general, with assignment as the deputy chief of staff, G-3/5/7, U.S. Army, Washington, D.C. Ryan is currently serving as the assistant deputy chief of staff, G-3/5/7, U.S. Army, Washington, D.C.

Army Maj. Gen. David Wilson for appointment to the grade of lieutenant general, with assignment as deputy chief of staff, G-9, U.S. Army, Washington, D.C. Wilson is currently serving as the commanding general, U.S. Army Sustainment Command, Rock Island, Illinois.

Army National Guard Maj. Gen. Jonathan M. Stubbs for appointment to the grade of lieutenant general, with assignment as director, Army National Guard, Arlington, Virginia. Stubbs is currently serving as the adjutant general, Arkansas National Guard, North Little Rock, Arkansas.

Army Col. Eric W. Widmar for appointment to the grade of brigadier general, with assignment as the legal counsel to the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Washington, D.C. Widmar is currently serving as the staff judge advocate, U.S. Central Command, MacDill Air Force Base, Florida.
