A geo-target SMS alert has helped to locate a man with dementia missing from Summer Hill.
The 71-year-old was last seen at an aged care home on Grosvenor Crescent, Summer Hill, about 9.45am today (Tuesday 2 May 2023).
After failing to return home, officers attached to Burwood Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
As part of extensive inquiries, a geo-target SMS alert was issued to the Summer Hill area at about 9pm, helping to locate the man in Five Dock.
