A teenage girl missing from Wilton has been located safe and well after police issued a geo-targeting alert.
The 13-year-old was last seen in Wilton about 9.30pm yesterday (Wednesday 10 January 2024).
When she was unable to be contacted or located officers from Camden Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts including a search of bushland in the Wilton area.
Police subsequently issued a public appeal for information and an SMS geo-targeting alert to the Wilton/Picton/Bargo/Tahmoor and surrounding areas.
About 2pm today (Thursday 11 January 2024) a member of the public – who received the alert - sighted the teenager and contacted police.
