Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) crews are on scene at a vegetation fire burning on Gladstone Benaraby Road at Glen Eden. There is no threat to property at this time. Firefighters are working to contain the blaze. Smoke is affecting the area and traffic restrictions are in place. Gladstone Benaraby Road is closed in both directions from Glen Eden Drive through to Kirkwood Road due to smoke affecting visibility. Residents should close windows and doors and keep respiratory medication close by. People should call Triple Zero (000) immediately if they or their property are under threat.
