Midland Detectives are seeking information regarding an incident in Glen Forrest yesterday, Saturday 24 December 2022, which left a building with significant damage.
About 5:20am, a Hino rubbish truck, which had been stolen from a business in Welshpool, was used to cause significant damage to a shopping centre building on Great Eastern Highway in Glen Forrest.
The truck was driven away from the scene, however it was located abandoned on nearby Hardey Road.
It has been established some time after the truck was abandoned a green and black Kawasaki motorcycle was stolen from a property on Hardey Road. It was last seen turning onto Smith Street, off Glen Forrest Drive about 6:30am.
Detectives are seeking dash-cam or mobile phone vision of the stolen rubbish truck in the time leading up to the incident (prior to 5:20am), or of the stolen green and black Kawasaki motorcycle being ridden after the incident (after 5:20am).
