Glenorchy Woman Faces Charges for Armed Robbery

A 48-year-old Branxholm woman will appear in an out of hours court later today charged with Attempted Armed Robbery following an incident that occurred at the Ampol Service Station, Main Road, Glenorchy, around 8:20pm last night.

It is alleged the woman walked across the forecourt of the service station armed with a knife approaching a woman and demanding property whilst making threats to harm her. The pair are unknown to each other.

The victim was not physically injured during the incident.
