Fawkner Highway Patrol officers have impounded a 2024 Toyota Camry after an intercept in Glenroy on Monday evening.
Police were patrolling Pascoe Vale Road about 10.30pm when they detected the Camry allegedly travelling at 141 km/h in a 60 km/h zone.
They intercepted the car and spoke to the driver, a 22-year-old man from Glenroy.
As a result, officers impounded the car with towing costs of $966.50 and the driver is expected to be charged with unlicensed driving and exceed speed limit.
