A Gold Coast local or visitor is yet to discover their new status as a millionaire following this week's Monday Gold Lotto draw, potentially unaware of their $1 million windfall.
The unidentified winner's ticket, purchased at Arundel Plaza News, matched all six numbers in draw 4364 on February 12, 2024, but was not registered to a player's card, leaving lottery officials in suspense, unable to directly inform the lucky ticket holder of their significant gain.
Arundel Plaza News owner Helen Dai said the entire team was excited to have sold a division one winning entry and were eagerly awaiting their winner to come forward and claim their prize.
“What an amazing way to start the week by selling a division one winning entry!” she said.
“We’re so excited for our mystery winner and hope they come forward as soon as possible to scan their entry and discover their life-changing win.
“It always feels good to be part of something that is going to change one of our customers’ lives so we’re all ecstatic.”
The Lott spokesperson James Eddy said he was eagerly waiting to speak to the Gold Coasts latest division one winner.
“It’s very likely this division one winner is oblivious to the fact they became a millionaire in last night’s Monday & Wednesday Gold Lotto draw,” he said.
“We’re urging anyone who purchased a Monday & Wednesday Gold Lotto entry at Arundel Plaza News to check their tickets as soon as possible.
“Imagine if the Monday & Wednesday Gold Lotto ticket that’s sitting in your back pocket, tucked in your purse or under a magnet on your fridge is worth $1 million!
The winning numbers in Monday & Wednesday Gold Lotto draw 4364 on Monday 12 February 2024 were 43, 32, 37, 31, 44 and 15, while the supplementary numbers were 7 and 18.
