Gordon Barnard Reserve fenced dog play area officially open

Boroondara's first fenced dog play area at Gordon Barnard Reserve is officially open.

The new facility provides a space where you can exercise, train and socialise with your dog in a safe, off-leash environment.

There are a range of elements for dogs to play and interact with, including:

  • a mix of ground surfaces
  • open grassed areas
  • logs and rocks
  • a sandpit.

The fenced dog play area is supported by the Victorian Government through the Suburban Parks Program, and was officially opened by Councillor Garry Thompson, Mayor of Boroondara and Ward Councillor Cynthia Watson on Friday 5 November 2021.

Head down with your pooch to check it out and enjoy your new space together.
