Cairns Regional Council wishes to advise road closures associated with the Port Douglas Gran Fondo on Sunday 8 September.
The Festival, held 6 to 8 September, involves cycle races between Port Douglas and Palm Cove.
Road closures:
- Captain Cook Hwy northbound closed between Palm Cove Boulevard and Wangetti Beach Road between 5.30am and 11.30am (Wangetti to Port Douglas remains closed until 1.30pm)
- Captain Cook Hwy southboundclosedbetween Port Douglas Road and Palm Cove Boulevard between 6am and 1.30pm
- Williams Esplanade closedfrom Cedar Road to Vievers Road between 6am and 10.30am (resident access maintained under traffic control)
Access to Palm Cove will be via Palm Cove Boulevard and Triton Street (except delays).
