Grand Opening Sunday Of 17th RSPCA SA Op Shop

New Op Shop location gives parents a chance to shop in peace while kids play

Noarlunga shoppers will have an opportunity to buy high-end fashion with affordable price tags after this weekend's opening of a new RSPCA South Australia Op Shop in the seaside suburb's commercial precinct.

RSPCA South Australia's 17th op shop – located at Shop 3/12-18 David Witton Drive, Noarlunga Centre - will open for the first time this Sunday 18 August at 10am.

To celebrate the store's opening, there will be -

  • 20% off storewide
  • Games and prizes provided by Mix 102.3
  • Free face painting and live music

Loredana Al, RSPCA SA's Head of Retail and Commercial operations, says the new store's location next to popular indoor playground Megazone could enhance the shopping experience for parents who have children in tow.

"While the kids play laser tag, Mums and Dads can be next door at our Op Shop indulging in a bit of retail therapy that doesn't break the budget," Loredana said.

"We now have five op shops located in beachside southern suburbs – the other four are in Glenelg, Brighton, Seaford and Victor Harbor.

"Warmer temperatures are on the way, so now's a great time to revamp summer wardrobes with stylish clothes that are in excellent condition, including some designer labels with original price tags."

All profits from RSPCA SA's op shops go towards the rescue and care of animals. The organisation currently has almost 600 animals in care, with about 240 housed at RSPCA's new animal care centre at O'Halloran Hill.
