- Keep Australia Beautiful WA Community Litter Grants now open
- Grants of up to $10,000 available for litter prevention projects

Western Australian community organisations can help tackle litter in their local environment with grants of up to $10,000 available for grassroots projects.
Applications have opened for the 2025 Keep Australia Beautiful (KAB) WA Community Litter Grants.
Schools, community groups, local governments and small to medium-sized enterprises are eligible to apply, with a total of $60,000 on offer.
The grants support projects that help reduce litter and change littering behaviour across WA.
More than $600,000 has been provided to community-led litter prevention initiatives since the KAB Community Litter Grants launched in 2013.
Last year, Belmont Community Environmental Champions received a $6,650 grant to launch the Less Mess Communities project, which allows Belmont locals to register a site, organise a clean-up and promote the results.
In the State's Mid West, Northern Agricultural Catchments Council received $6,140 for its Fishing Float Survey project to help minimise coastal litter by engaging volunteers to report and track fishing floats washed up between Kalbarri and Guilderton.
Applications for 2025 grants are open until 10am, 20 May 2025.
