Artworks from sixty local artists will be exhibited across the Peninsula as part of Mornington Peninsula Shire's 2019 Green Wedge Exhibition.
Three artists will also receive bursaries including:
- $1,000 Most Inspiring Award
- $500 Green Award
- $500 Encouragement Award.
Awarded artworks will be announced at the official Exhibition launch on Saturday 15 June at Merricks House Gallery at Merricks General Wine Store from 3pm.
Now in its second year, the Exhibition invites artists to submit a Green Wedge inspired artwork to be considered for exhibition across the Peninsula with displays launching in June at the Shire Council Chamber in Rosebud, Oak Hill Gallery and Merricks House Art Gallery at Merricks General Wine Store.
The Green Wedge Exhibition furthers Council's efforts to protect areas of National, State and local conservation significance and habitat value.
