A man has been charged following an altercation outside a venue on Cunningham Street in Dalby early this morning, September 16.
It will be alleged two men got into an altercation around 1.15am before one of the men struck the victim, causing him to fall to the ground and hit his head.
Emergency crews were called and a 32-year-old Dalby man was transported to Dalby Hospital before being flown to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition.
A crime scene was declared at the incident location.
A 33-year-old Capalaba man was located nearby and charged with grievous bodily harm.
He is expected to appear before Dalby Magistrates Court on Monday, September 18.
