Grievous Bodily Harm Investigation, Chermside West

Detectives from Carseldine Criminal Investigation Branch are appealing for information following a grievous bodily harm incident in Chermside West last night, September 5.

Initial investigations indicate just before 11pm, a 29-year-old Bracken Ridge man was inside his vehicle, which was parked in the carpark at Huxtable Park, when he was assaulted by a group of unknown people.

The group left the scene a short time later in a white car towards Hamilton Road.

Upon arrival, police located the 29-year-old man with non-life-threatening injuries.

A crime scene was declared, and the man was taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital for treatment.

Detectives are appealing to witnesses, particularly anyone with relevant vision of the vehicle, a white car, to come forward.

Investigations are continuing.
