Police are investigating an incident that occurred in Walkervale yesterday afternoon (September 17).
Early information indicates at between 1.00pm and 1.30pm a 36-year-old Avoca man stopped to speak to another man known to him on Maryborough Street, Walkervale.
In the course of events the Avoca male sustained severe burns to his body and was transported to the Bundaberg Hospital for treatment.
Police are appealing for anyone who has dashcam footage from within the vicinity of Maryborough & Maynard Streets around that time.
Investigations are continuing.
