Grinch Who Stole Christmas ... Parcels In Sandringham

Moorabbin Crime Investigation Unit detectives are searching for a Christmas grinch after a delivery van full of parcels for good boys and girls was stolen in Sandringham last week.

It is believed the thief snuck into a van parked outside a commercial premises on Bay Road and sped away with the parcels in tow about 10am on Tuesday 17 December.

The offender then dumped the vehicle near a railway station in Hampton which was recovered a short time later.

Detectives are yet to determine if any parcels were stolen.

This grinch isn't green but is described as being Caucasian in appearance, in his 30's and approximately 170cm tall.

He was last seen wearing a blue grey hat, a blue jacket and long pants.

Police have released CCTV and images of a man they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.

Victoria Police will also be dropping a note to Santa to advise of the grinch's bad behaviour and put him on the naughty list.
