The latest package of flood repair works in Gympie is underway, as the Gympie Regional Council marks another milestone in rebuilding some of the region's key services following the 2022 flood event.
The $7 million program is jointly funded by the Albanese and Miles Governments under Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA) and is part of Gympie Regional Council's Building a Resilient Region program.
Works include pavement and pothole repairs, road resealing, excavation works, and asphalt surfacing to restore flood affected areas to improve conditions for road users.
