Police are investigating a collision between and motorcycle and a kangaroo in Haddon last night.
Emergency services responded to reports of a rider falling from their motorcycle on Haddon School Road about 9pm.
Officers swiftly arrived on scene and ascertained that the motorcycle had collided with a kangaroo.
The rider, a 61-year-old Haddon man, was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries.
The kangaroo did not survive the collision.
The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident remains ongoing.
