Hahndorf Restaurant Fire

Hills Fleurieu police are investigating a fire that destroyed a Handorf restaurant last night.

Police and fire crews were alerted to the fire about 8.30pm on Tuesday 28 April after reports of flames coming from the windows.

The Mount Barker Road restaurant was fully engulfed in flames as police arrived at the scene.

Mount Barker Road was closed between Pine Avenue and Auricht Road while fire crews fought the blaze and brought it under control. The restaurant was closed at the time and was completely destroyed by the fire.

Fire Cause Investigators and Hills Fleurieu Detectives attended the scene and investigations are continuing.

Investigators would like to speak with anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area or who may have CCTV or dashcam footage.
