Hand Made Exhibition & Ceramics Market: Bayside

Bayside Council is celebrating International Women's Day with a Handmade Exhibition and Ceramics Market featuring the work of ten local Bayside women artists at the Botany Town Hall on Saturday 8 March.

Visitors will be able to view exciting artworks by these professional artists and purchase a range of ceramics directly from the artists on the day.

An artists talk at 10.30am will be an opportunity to hear from members of Claypool, Botany and St George Potters Group who will talk about their working week and what it is like to be a full-time ceramic artist in 2025.

Ceramic demonstrations will take place later in the day between 12noon and 1pm.

The ten exhibiting artist are Anna-Lisa Backlund, Charli Savage, Kathy Forrest, Sally Cooper, Di Quick, Tusanee Jiarasak, Philippa Bolton, Phyllis Black, Carolyn Long and Minji Song

Council is also hosting a bike maintenance workshop and a series of self-defence workshops in celebration of International Women's Day.
