Residents may soon receive a call from an independent market research agency asking about the City of Whittlesea's performance over the past year.
This annual survey is conducted by the State Government to measure community perception of Victorian councils and the broad range of services they deliver.
The survey involves 800 telephone interviews conducted in each Municipality by National Field Services, an Australian-based independent market research agency.
City of Whittlesea CEO Craig Lloyd encouraged residents to take the opportunity to answer the survey questions if they receive a call.
"We really value our community's feedback to let us know what's working well and in what areas we can do better," he said.
"It's only a short survey of around 10 minutes, so I'd encourage you to take the time if you can.
"The City of Whittlesea is very committed to making improvements to the way we deliver services and facilities and this survey is just one way we can hear from our community and improve our performance."
From next Thursday, 18 February, the City of Whittlesea will also start a conversation with our community to help inform the Council Plan for 2021-25, as we work towards our Whittlesea 2040 Vision.
"We'll be asking residents, businesses, clubs, groups and other stakeholders where Council's efforts and funds should be focused over the next four years," Mr Lloyd said.
"There are many ways you can be involved including joining a conversation with our three Administrators - Ms Lydia Wilson, Ms Peita Duncan and The Hon Bruce Billson - along with myself and other members of the Executive Team during an online forum at 6.30pm next Thursday.
"After that, we will hold community forums and pop up activities to have face-to-face conversations (following Covid-19 Directions), and you can also have your say by completing our online survey.
"The feedback we receive will help shape our City for the next four years with outcomes that will benefit generations to come."
