Hawkesbury Fest is going online to celebrate Local Government Week from Monday, 3 August to Sunday, 9 August with the theme 'Councils Do'.
The week of online events will showcase the work Council does in the Hawkesbury, including the wide variety of services provided. Hawkesbury City Council's full schedule for Local Government week is now available at www.hawkesbury.nsw.gov.au/news-and-events/events/hawkesbury-fest-online-2020
Council will host the event via Council's website www.hawkesbury.nsw.gov.au and on the Hawkesbury Events Facebook Page at www.facebook.com/hawkesburyevents
Over the last two years, Hawkesbury Fest was held on a Sunday afternoon at Governor Phillip Park to celebrate Local Government Week. In 2019, the second year of the event, Council held a first birthday celebration of the Governor Phillip Park with 54 community groups being involved and more than 6000 people attending the event.
In keeping with the COVID-19 requirements of the Federal and State Government, and for the safety of the Hawkesbury community, Council has adapted the physical event to a new online version.
Please see the schedule of online events to be held on Hawkesbury Events Facebook Page www.facebook.com/hawkesburyevents during the week of Local Government Week below.
