Hawkesbury City Council is calling on community-minded individuals, groups and teams to apply for Round Three of the 2025/26 Community Sponsorship Program. Applications are open from 1 May to 31 May 2026.
The program offers support across three sponsorship categories:
- Resilient Hawkesbury
Community organisations can apply for up to $3,000 to deliver activities that strengthen connection, health, inclusion and resilience across the Hawkesbury. Eligible initiatives may include workshops, community events, support programs or projects that bring people together.
- Participation
Individuals or teams who have been selected to represent the Hawkesbury at a state, national or international sporting or cultural event may be eligible for financial assistance. Funding of $150 is available for individuals, while teams of five or more can receive up to $750.
- Access to Community Facilities
Not-for-profit community groups based in or servicing the Hawkesbury can apply for assistance with venue hire costs. This category offers a 50 per cent subsidy on the hire of a Council or community facility, to a maximum of $750.
Council is keen to support a wide range of initiatives through this funding round and encourages eligible applicants to apply under the category that best fits their activity.
