Armadale Detectives are seeking information regarding a crash in Haynes on Friday 24 May 2024, in which a motorcycle was struck by a vehicle.
About 3:35pm, a male was riding an orange KTM motorcycle on Twelfth Road, and whilst exiting the roundabout at the intersection of Armadale Road the motorcycle was struck by a black Jeep Cherokee. The driver of the Jeep failed to stop and departed the location with damage to the front of the vehicle.
The motorcycle rider – a man aged in his 20's - was taken by St John WA to Royal Perth Hospital.
A Jeep Cherokee believed to be involved in the incident was located burnt out on a track located off of South Western Highway in Whitby on Saturday morning, 25 May 2024.
Detectives are seeking CCTV, dash-cam or mobile phone vision of any black Jeep Cherokees being driven in the area between Haynes and Whitby on Friday afternoon/evening or Saturday.
