Armidale Regional Council (ARC) is excited to announce that Halloween 2024 will be run by local community Youth Reference Group headspace Armidale on Thursday 31 October.

This event will include musical entertainment, vendors, and fun activities for kids. Halloween in the Armidale Mall will take place from 4pm-8pm.

"This event is an example of the Armidale Regional Council collaborating with local groups and individuals to enable events for the wider community in shared public spaces, and to support vibrancy in our region," said ARC acting General Manager Annie Harris.

"Last year's Halloween in the Armidale Mall was such a fabulous and fun-filled event and we are sure it be amazing again in 2024 with headspace taking over the reins.

"The Halloween event not only creates a family-friendly atmosphere but also supports economic opportunities for local retail shops, ensuring that everyone benefits from the increased foot traffic in the Armidale Mall."

The headspace Armidale Youth Reference Group said they were excited to be taking on Armidale's Halloween celebrations and that it would be a fun and safe event for the youth of Armidale to attend, with live music, trick or treating, games and activities.

Community Engagement and Development Officer of headspace Armidale, Bronte Hodge said "Armidale's Halloween celebrations have always been a great event and headspace Armidale is excited to be a part of the mix, under the leadership of the Youth Reference Group.

The 2024 event will see fun and games for the whole family, with much more to be announced!

"We will be opening expressions of interest for stall holders, markets, community groups and schools to get involved, also, in the coming weeks."
