A Victorian man has defied the odds, clinching his second major lottery win in just two years, with the latest victory bringing him a $100,000 prize from the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot.
The Brunswick man held the 1st Prize winning entry in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10883, drawn Monday 14 October 2024 and scored $100,000.
The fortunate winner first scooped $1 million in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 4217, drawn Wednesday 14 September 2022 (now officially called Weekday Windfall).
The winning man was completely awestruck when he received yet another winning phone call from lottery officials, struggling to wrap his head around the fact that lightning had struck twice.
“Woo-hoo, thank you so much!” he laughed.
“It’s so nice speaking to you again – it’s been two years!
“Winning last time really changed my life. I was in such a horrible position, and it really brought some happiness into my life. I was able to buy a place and support my partner.
“I truly feel so blessed. I am a lucky man to win twice!
“I remember looking up the odds the first time I won division one in Monday and Wednesday Lotto, and now I’ve won again.
“It’s amazing, and I’m twice as blessed.”
With $100,000 soon to hit his bank account, the thrilled Victorian shared his exciting plans included a brand-new ride and giving his bathroom the luxury makeover it deserves.
“I need to buy a new car, and this has come in handy,” he said.
“My bathroom also needs renovating, so I’ll be doing both of those things.
“Thank you so much.”
