Artist Richard Blundell helped host a two day painting masterclass through the Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) grants program.

A helping hand will be given to City of Logan artists wanting to access the latest round of Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) grants.

An introduction to grant writing for creatives workshop will be held online from 6pm to 7.30pm on Thursday, September 9.

RADF helps arts and cultural workers from all art forms and at all stages of their careers. Up to $8000 is available to each successful applicant.

Individuals, groups and organisations in the areas of skills development, regional partnerships and cultural tourism/creative projects can apply.

RADF is a partnership between the Queensland Government and Logan City Council to support local arts and culture in regional Queensland.

Applications for the next grant round open on Tuesday, September 1 and close at 2pm on Tuesday, October 19 for projects beginning after Saturday, January 1, 2022.

Applicants should discuss their grant proposal prior to submission with Council's RADF Liaison Officer by calling 3412 5426 or emailing [email protected]

Applications must be submitted online. Before applying, applicants should read the RADF guidelines.

Bookings for the grant writing session are essential and can be made online.
