Help Shape Council Plan And Budget

Residents, community groups, sports clubs or organisations with an initiative or project that will benefit the community are invited to submit their ideas for consideration as part of updating the Council Plan and Budget for 2025/26.

Council is looking for projects that make a difference to the local community.

In 2024/25, Council received 16 project ideas from our community and provided funding for 10 projects to the value of $584,000.

Council Plan and Budget ideas should include details about your organisation or group, the proposal for a project, estimated cost, how it would address a community need and benefit locals, and how it aligns with the Community Vision.

You will also have the opportunity to present your ideas to Council in person early next year. If you would like to present your project, please indicate this when you submit your idea.

Council Plan and Budget ideas can be made online until 27 January 2025 at: conversations.melton.vic.gov.au/creating-melton-citys-future
