Sunraysia residents are invited to help shape how signage at the entrances to our towns looks.

Councillor for Community Development and Gender Equality Helen Healy said town entrance signage served several vital purposes.

"Town entrance signage helps visitors find their way around our region, letting them know they have arrived in a certain town," Cr Healy said.

"Importantly, it also gives our communities in these towns a sense of identification and pride.

"It's therefore essential that the signage greeting both locals and visitors to our towns is bold, eye-catching and unique."

Residents can provide their input into the guidelines that determine how this signage looks by attending one of four community consultation sessions at the following locations.
