When beauty therapist Samantha Kurtz sees teenagers walking down the street with problematic skin she thinks to herself, "It does not have to be that way".
"With good quality skincare products you can manage and improve even cystic acne," she said.
The owner of Samantics Beauty at Tangambalanga, who is passionate about good skincare, will host Skincare for Teens at Baranduda Community Centre on Wednesday, February 12 and Thursday, February 13 from 6pm to 8pm.
The Wednesday session is for girls while the Thursday one is for boys only, aged 12 and over.
Parents are invited to stay and take in the information to ensure their teenager is equipped to follow through with a good skincare routine and general skin hygiene.
Ms Kurtz said her 16-year-old son had been through his own battle with problematic skin.
His cystic acne improved tenfold after using good quality skin products.
"The battle is getting them to clean their skin twice a day because they will see the benefits," she said.
The session will give participants the opportunity to ask questions and learn how to look after their skin with a three-step process using products from ASAP.
"Girls with long hair should bring along a hair tie as we will be cleaning their skin and trying the products," Ms Kurtz said.
Products from ASAP will be available for purchase on the night.
