Construction work at the playground at Henderson Oval Yoogali has commenced.
This is a $125,000 project and includes $50,000 funded by the Department of Planning, Industry and Environment under the Everyone Can Play program to provide an inclusive playground. Everyone Can Play aims to provide people of all ages, abilities and cultural backgrounds with an opportunity to play.
Council will be upgrading the play equipment with shade shelter, seating and bin enclosure, and extending the shared pathway from Gorton Street to the playground.
It is envisaged that the construction will be completed by the end of April 2021.
