Hi-Quality Quarry Products Pty Ltd has applied for an EPA Victoria Development Licence to process fill material and construction waste for reuse at its facility at 570-600 Sunbury Rd, Bulla.
The activity will involve receival of up to 100,000 tonnes per year of fill material and construction wastes including concrete, bricks, asphalt and rock.
Mechanical equipment will sort and screen incoming material. Material will be separated into soil fill material and construction material.
Recovered materials are weighed and documented before being reused on-site or off-site. Material which is not suitable for reuse will go to a permitted site for disposal.
