Police have charged a man following a serious vehicle and pedestrian crash in Pimpama, on Friday July 26.
Initial information indicates the driver of a black Holden sedan had allegedly driven dangerously at a man who was standing outside a property on Bull Street, before leaving the scene in the vehicle.
Emergency crews arrived and transported a 42-year-old man to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police tracked down and arrested the alleged driver of the vehicle a short time later.
A 28-year-old Pimpama man has been charged with one count each of acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm, common assault (domestic violence offence) and driver failing to remain at incident and render assistance.
He is expected to appear before Southport Magistrates Court today, July 27.
