The University of Hong Kong (HKU) held a flag-raising ceremony today (July 1) to commemorate the 27th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) of the People's Republic of China.

Council Chairman Ms Priscilla Wong Pui-sze, President and Vice-Chancellor Professor Xiang Zhang and members of the Council, Senate, as well as staff, students, and invited guests attended the ceremony to celebrate this important occasion.
