Young people across the Territory can choose from more than 500 activities during the school holidays which begin next week.
Local youth, sports, and community organisations will provide a diverse array of activities and programs, including festivals, splash parties, creative arts, skills development workshops, disco nights, sport and fitness programs, circus workshops, and many more exciting events.
The program runs from Saturday 22 June to Monday 15 July, with some events kicking off this Friday - as soon as school's out.
The Territory Labor Government's funding pool of $125,000 to around 30 organisations across the Territory is provided through the Youth Vibe Holiday Grants. Further annual funding of $3 million is provided throughout the year through the Quick Response Grants, NT Youth Week Grants, and the Regional Youth Activities Grants programs, part of which is used for school holiday activities.
These initiatives ensure young people can engage, learn, and have fun while fostering a sense of community and belonging. With a wide range of activities catering to diverse interests, every young person can find something that interests them.
The investment promotes the wellbeing and development of young Territorians, creating a vibrant and supportive environment for the next generation.

Alice Springs: Over 130 activities, including NAIDOC Week celebrations with numerous youth events.Darwin and Palmerston: More than 220 activities, including youth festivals, workshops, fitness programs, and drop-in spaces.East Arnhem: Opportunities to participate in a First Nations-led circus ensemble, workshops and a range of community events.Big Rivers: Katherine is offering activities such as roller skating, laser tag, colour run, and creative arts workshops to keep young people engaged.Barkly: Tennant Creek's school holiday calendar features exciting events such as 3-on-3 basketball, Build Up skateboarding workshops, cooking classes, arts and craft sessions, and the Connection Through Horses program.
