Lots within Stage 1 of the Holtze Land Release are ready to hit the market, providing a range of competitive options for those looking to build their home in the Top End.
The Holtze land developer of The Parks received a development permit in January 2025, and its Central Park Release - Stage 1 will provide land from $189,000 for first home buyers.
Minister for Lands, Planning and Environment, Joshua Burgoyne, said the Central Park Release - Stage 1 will provide a selection of lot sizes to support a range of housing choices to meet the needs of the community.
"Our Government is focused on rebuilding the Territory's reputation as a great place to live, work and invest," said Mr Burgoyne.
"Ensuring more affordable land is available for housing is vital to keeping Territorians here and attracting new families and essential workers to the Territory."
Treasurer Bill Yan said that together with our Fresh Start program and HomeGrown Territory Grants, which includes up to $50,000 to build a new home in the NT, the CLP Government is delivering the most generous housing package Australia has to offer.
"We are providing Territorians with the best possible opportunity to put down roots and build their life here in the Territory - whether you're buying your first property or building your dream home, the CLP Government is supporting you," said Mr Yan.
"These programs have already seen a huge uptake from the community, with over 360 applications submitted across all programs since 1 October last year."
"We are securing our population, driving investment, delivering local jobs and rebuilding our Territory economy."
Minister Burgoyne said the Part A enabling infrastructure will be finished before the end of 2025, with the developer commencing works shortly to get blocks ready.
"This means builders could be onsite constructing homes for our first residents later this year," Mr Burgoyne said.
"Not only will these enabling works support new homes, but they will also support the future expansion of the Palmerston Regional Hospital and the development of Greater Holtze.
"The Parks will continue to cater for future population growth in Greater Darwin to support the Territory's economy.
"The strategic planning efforts by the NT Government, NT Planning Commission, the developers and everyone involved will ensure this area becomes a vibrant community where Territorians can build, grow and thrive."
Real Estate Central Director, Daniel Harris, said it's really exciting to be a part of what is the dawning of a new era with the very first lots at The Parks in the Holtze area now a reality.
"We've been overwhelmed with enquiries, and we're excited to now offer them for sale," Mr Harris said.
"It's great to be working with such an experienced local development team delivering a quality product and offering exceptional value for money to Territorians.
"The Central Park Stage 1 offering is an amazing opportunity for first homebuyers in particular who are looking to utilise the $50,000 grant and secure their place in the market so close to town.
"I doubt very much we'll see fully serviced suburban blocks of land offered at sub 200k ever again in Darwin."
Quote from the Development Director of The Parks, Andrew Bartington: "We are significantly investing in an interlinked network of parks that provide families with a high quality, attractive lifestyle in close proximity to the Palmerston Regional Hospital and the Gateway Shopping Centre."
Quote from Holtze Land Company Director, Jessie Risk from AKJ Services: "This development is being delivered by locals for locals, and we want to see families here, raising their children in a safe and welcoming environment."
