Police are investigating a home invasion which occurred in Sydney’s south west overnight, NSW Police say.
Just before midnight today, police were called to a home on Bungulla Street, after reports up to three men forced their way into the home and assaulted two male residents.
A 23-year-old man was treated by NSW Ambulance Paramedics for lacerations to his head before being taken to Liverpool Hospital in a stable condition.
A 56-year-old man was also conveyed to Liverpool Hospital for non-life threatening injuries to his stomach and chest.
A crime scene has been established and officers from Green Valley Local Area Command have commenced an investigation into the incident.
It is believed the incident is targeted.
