Detectives from Ipswich Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) have commenced a homicide investigation after a man was located deceased in Lowood this morning, January 2.
Emergency services were initially called to a Walnut Crescent address around 5am following reports of the man being found unresponsive at the property.
He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
A crime scene has been declared and investigations into the circumstances of the man's death are continuing.
