Police have commenced a homicide investigation after the sudden death of a man at Kirwan this evening, May 27.
Initial information indicates that around 4:40pm, emergency services were called to a business on Thuringowa Drive following reports of a man sustaining stab wounds.
Upon arrival, officers located a man with multiple serious injuries.
Despite attempts to revive the man, he was declared deceased at the scene.
A man in his thirties was taken into custody at the scene and is currently assisting police with their inquiries.
No one else was physically injured during the incident.
Investigations are ongoing.
