Police have arrested a man following ongoing investigations into the alleged murder of 49-year-old Upper Lockyer woman Frances Elizabeth Crawford in July.
Emergency crews were initially called to a report of an incident at Thomas Road property in the Lockyer Valley just before 3.40am on July 30 where the woman was located.
An investigation centre was set up with teams of detectives from the Crime and Intelligence Command Homicide Group and Gatton Criminal Investigation Branch into the circumstances that lead to her death.
This morning detectives arrested a 47-year-old man.
Investigations are continuing and there is no further information at this time.
Detectives can confirm a number of people have provided information since our last public appeal and thank those people for their bravery in coming forward.
