Detectives from the Homicide Squad are investigating after a man's body was located in Mambourin this morning.
The body was located in a park near Elementary Road about 7.30am on 21 January and is yet to be formally identified.
The exact circumstances surrounding his death are yet to be determined.
A man, who is believed to be known to the victim, is currently in custody assisting police with enquiries.
The investigation remains ongoing and police are keen to speak to anyone from the area who may have CCTV or dash-cam footage.
