ADF members from across the land, maritime, air, cyber and space domains have been recognised with military awards in the Australia Day honours list.

The 79 personnel, ranked from craftsman to rear admiral, have been honoured for excellence and achievement in areas ranging from strategic leadership and command, operational planning, combat capability, intelligence and information warfare to psychology, safety, chaplaincy and catering.

Defence's head of Military Strategic Commitments, Rear Admiral Jonathan Earley, heads the list, appointed an Officer (AO) in the Military Division of the Order of Australia for demonstrating "acumen, intelligence and initiative" in key command and senior leadership positions with Navy.

The list, below, includes 25 recipients in the Military Division of the Order of Australia, three Distinguished Service decorations and 51 Conspicuous Service decorations.
