Hunt On For Mystery $100M Powerball Jackpot Winner

The quest has begun to find a mystery Australian who has won the entire $100 million Powerball jackpot singlehandedly with an unregistered ticket, becoming one of the biggest lottery winners in Australian history.

The winning ticket from last night’s Powerball draw 1475 on 22 August 2024 was purchased at a The Lott outlet on Brisbane's northside but was not registered to any player card, leaving the winner’s identity unknown to lotto officials.

As Brisbane buzzes with speculation, all eyes are on this incredible event, waiting for the winner to step forward and claim their $100 million prize.

The Lott spokesperson Anna Hobdell is urging all players who bought a ticket in Brisbane to check their tickets and come forward.

“Someone has become an overnight multi-millionaire but possibly doesn't know it yet. We can’t wait for them to discover this winning news!” she said.

“Just imagine how $100 million might change your life and the lives of your nearest and dearest.

“There are 100 million reasons why all Queensland players who had an entry in tonight’s draw should check their ticket this morning.

“Players can check their tickets in-store, online at thelott.com or via The Lott app.

“If you discover you’re holding the division one winning entry, hold on tight to that ticket and phone 131 868 as soon as possible so that we can start the prize claim process!”

“It’s a great reminder to players of the importance of registering your tickets to a player card or online account so all of their prizes are secure, and they can be contacted directly with the good news of a big win.”

In addition to the major jackpot, the draw also awarded 3,389,212 smaller prizes across divisions two to nine, totaling more than $67 million. This includes ten lucky division two winners, each walking away with $188,606.60.
