ICC To Host Sixth Asia Pacific Forum In Hague

On Friday, 19 July 2024, from 09:00 to 11:00 CEST - 16:00 to 18:00 JST/KST, the International Criminal Court (ICC) will host online the sixth Asia Pacific Forum of the Hague. This webinar will be held with the goal of promoting awareness of the Court in the Asia Pacific region.

This event will delve into the subject of "Justice Across Borders: The Role of the ICC in the Asia-Pacific", with a high-level dialogue with ICC judges Keebong Paek and Erdenebalsuren Damdin, and ICC Deputy Prosecutor Nazhat Shameem Khan. This will be followed by discussion on "Inside the Courtroom: Advancing International Justice Through Diverse Roles of Parties" with ICC representatives and Counsels from the Asia-Pacific region, as well as an informative session conducted by the Human Resources Section to know more about career opportunities. The event will be opened by the President of the Court, judge Tomoko Akane.

The webinar is open for all interested participants and will be held in English.
