A man has been arrested following an incident at a pizza bar in Newton overnight, according to SA Police.
Just after 10.30pm on Saturday 20 October, a man entered the pizza bar on Montacute Road and engaged in a dispute with staff over food he had ordered. The man then left the shop with a refund and staff contacted police.
A short time later, patrols attended an address in Dernancourt and spoke with the man. While at the property police uncovered a cannabis crop being grown hydroponically.
The 35-year-old from Dernancourt was arrested and charged with cultivating a commercial quantity of a controlled plant and theft of electricity.
He has been bailed to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on 19 December.
