This winter, Bayside is coming alive with vibrant hues and dazzling lights as two more exclusive neon light installations are set to enchant locals.
Conceptualised by Melbourne-based Volter International in collaboration with visual artist Carla O'Brien, the Neon Nights series is a captivating fusion of art and technology.
The series commenced on Saturday 14 June, with Bay Street in Brighton being transformed into an Under the Sea neon display. Families and residents dived into the mesmerising underwater environment, where glowing sea creatures and aquatic scenes ignited imaginations.
The excitement continues on Saturday 21 June, when Hampton Street will be illuminated with a whimsical Neon Garden near the train station.
Rounding off the series on Saturday 28 June, Beaumaris Concourse will host a delightful Neon Dog Park. This playful installation will charm dog lovers and neon enthusiasts alike, with luminous silhouettes of dogs at play creating a joyful and dynamic scene.
Each of these events are free, running from 5pm to 9pm. No bookings are necessary, simply walk through and enjoy the neon brilliance.
So, mark your calendars and prepare to light up your winter with Bayside's Neon Nights. Whether you're basking in the glow of a neon garden or enjoying the playful atmosphere of a neon dog park, these unique experiences promise to brighten the season.
