Discussions during the workshop

CALSS researchers presented their preliminary findings and policy recommendations for two technical studies on expanding social protection coverage for platform workers in China, financially and technically supported by the ILO through the EU-China Project "Improving China's institutional capacity towards universal social protection (Phase 2)".

Experts from ILO tripartite partners, including MOHRSS, the All-China Federation of Trade Unions (ACFTU) and the China Enterprise Confederation (CEC), as well as academics from institutions such as Renmin University of China, the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), and the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE), were invited to provide their feedback on the two studies. The recommendations from this workshop will aid in finalizing the studies.
